Vanessa LaRoche

WellSpace Clinician (She/Her)

Patterns are all around us, from the way we form connections with others to how we decide what to put in our tea. As an individual, couple and family therapist Vanessa believes that patterns of behavior have the ability to both positively and negatively shape the narratives we hold about ourselves and others. Vanessa strives to provide a welcoming space where a strong therapeutic alliance allows for you to feel safe exploring the truest version of yourself. As a socioculturally attuned therapist, Vanessa hopes to bring awareness to the systems and context that impact the way you move through the world. Vanessa has experience working with racially diverse individuals of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions and those exploring gender identity/expression. She works with couples seeking help improving communication and issues pertaining to sex and intimacy. Vanessa utilizes solution focused and narrative therapy techniques as her framework while also including experiential forms of therapy through sand tray activities and art. Vanessa is a LGBTQ+ and non-monogamy affirming therapist. She received her masters degree in couple and family therapy at Purdue University Northwest and is Gottman level one certified.
