Louise Marks, LMSW-CC

WellSpace Clinician (She/Her)

Louise sees therapy as an opportunity to support individuals both in navigating acute challenges as well as in lifelong work of reflection, exploration and understanding. She has a background in college counseling, hospital social work, and working with individuals impacted by the carceral system. Louise is warm, curious, and identifies co-creation as a guiding principle in her work.

Louise uses an eclectic but predominantly psychodynamic and relational approach that values each individual’s personal experiences, strengths, and hopes for therapy. She sees each person within the context of their environment and relationships, recognizing how interactions with institutions and systems of oppression impact identity development and sense of self.

Louise works with folks on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, substance use, relationships, life transitions and identity.
