Jonathan Eng, PsyD

WellSpace Clinician (He/Him)

As your therapist, Jonathan Eng always seeks to bring the full measure of his experience, curiosity, good humor, and desire to see you succeed. He enjoys working with clients on a variety of issues from anxiety and depression to relationship and family difficulties to grief/bereavement to life transitions. He particularly looks to create a positive therapy experience for individuals from any historically oppressed minority group whether it be race, gender identity, sexual identity, religion, or economic background.

As a clinician, Jon has used many types of therapy including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic treatments and he likes to tailor the therapy to your preferences and needs. In general, he tends to see client issues from a life-history or trauma-based lens and his sessions typically start with a beginning check-in, then continue on to follow up from the previous session’s work, and end with future plans and likely assignments for the next week. Jon holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Yeshiva University. He worked at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for his internship and at the Community Health Center for his Post-doctoral training.
